As you can tell I don't post much but lurk often. I'm taking my wife to Myrtle Beach over the Halloween weekend. While I know the golf is good how is the nightlife? Is she gonna have fun or just bitch about all the golfing? Any help is appreciated.

personally i prefer south end in the pawleys island area

pawleys plantation, litchfield, heritage
debordieu are my favorites

if you want something really nice ,right in the center of everything
either the raddison or the hilton
both very nice

if you prefer more quiet stay on the south end
and would reccomend
litchfield inn, pawleys plantation.

Plan to go south approx. 15 miles one evening to Murrell's Inlet. You can watch the fishing boats come in, have a cocktail right on the water, very relaxing and very beautiful.

A number of excellent restaurants located there but my favorite is Drunken Jack's. You will not be disappointed with this little side trip.
